How should I water my plants? All pots have a drainage hole for ease of watering outdoors. If placed indoors, I recommend placing them on a shallow dish when on display, and placing the entire plant in the tub or sink to water. Sorry, these items are not available for shipping. Leave the water flowing for long enough to saturate all the roots and soil and flow out the bottom.
Why is terra cotta a good material for pots? This material provides excellent drainage and airflow, resulting in happy roots and less root rot. Glazed, composite, or plastic pots are less permeable and will tend to lock in water more.
